About
Hello there!
My name is Ashton Haugen and I am a voice talent, actor, teacher, singer, and podcaster from the greater Los Angeles area.
I have been a full-time Voice Actor since 2019. In that time I have narrated and produced over 200 audiobooks, been featured in Netflix series promos including Cheer Season 2, performed as the English voice of “Ana” in the Netflix movie Switched Up!, voiced digital broadcast commercial campaigns, explainer videos for several clients including the New York Board of Education and Bayer Aspirin, have voiced characters for multiple mobile games, been featured in several episodic fictional podcasts, and created my own podcast with Deanna Cooney and Tessa Livingston called “The Good Talkers Podcast” where we talk all things Voice Over.
I am also getting back into live theatre after a several-year hiatus. My first role as I began to rebuild my theatre career was Limerick in the cast of the new TYA musical “Pirates Vs. Leprechauns” at the Wayward Artist in Santa Ana California. I have also been recently cast as “Gimli” in a production of “Fellowship! A Musical Parody” which will run in Spring 2025.
I have worked for the past 20+ years to expand my skills as an actor and voice talent by studying and taking classes from many working voice actors and casting agents, as well as obtaining private coaching and building my skills and resume. Sarah McLoud, Big Mouth Voices currently represent me. In addition to all that, I am also an instructor at the Laguna College of Art and Design (LCAD), teaching “Acting For Animators.”
When I’m not behind the mic or in front of the classroom, I love to read, sing karaoke with my partner Ian, and cuddle my 15-year-old Papillon, Fender.
